Scientific programme

(C) Caroline Perron, photgraphe

Programme

Book of abstracts (as of August 23rd, 38 Mb)

Note that this version, produced after the conference, is cleaned from withdrawn abstracts and no-shows so that it reflects what was presented at the conference. Please contact the organizers for comments or questions.

Presentation guidelines

Oral presentations:

  • NEW INSTRUCTIONS: all speakers including those in the room have to share their presentation through the Zoom link provided by email for that room. Please turn off the microphone and speakers from your computer as this will come from the room, and do not use the cables to connect your computer.
  •  If you prefer to use the computer of the room, please communicate in advance with chair@ibapixe.org
  • Screen format is 16:9 but 4:3 works properly.

Presentation time:

  • plenary: 35 min presentation + 5 min for questions and transition to the next presentation
  • invited: 25 min presentation + 5 min for questions and transition
  • contributed talk: 17 min presentation + 3 min for questions and transition

Poster presentation:

  • Posters must be maximum 36" wide x 48" high (portrait orientation). A0 format in portrait orientation works well.
  • You'll be invited to put them up during lunch time on Monday 18th and take them down after the 2nd poster session on Tuesday or at lunch time on the Wednesday. Pins will be provided.
  • Abstracts with an even number have to be attended during the first poster session and those with an odd number during the second poster session. If you present two posters with the same parity, just pick up one for the first day and the other for the second day.

Internet access

Regarding the Internet, please make sure that your Eduroam access is configured correctly on your devices before leaving home. If you don't have access to Eduroam at all, we're in the process of obtaining a few passcodes to access Internet at the conference venue during the time of the conference, but please plan for an alternative.
