Announcement circulated among former participants and other people related to the IBA•PIXE community with instructions on how to proceed to abstract submission.
Deadline extended to May 10th.
Deadline for submitting an abstract to the conference. Following the deadline, members of the Programme Committee will score them and make recommendations to the local organizing committee who will make the final selection of oral and poster presentations.
Late abstract submission deadline: June 30th.
The submission system is reopen until June 30th to submit late abstracts that will be considered by the Programme Comittee for a poster. See instructions on the Call for abstracts page.
Authors receive a notification whether their abstract is considered for an oral presentation, a poster, or not considered of sufficient scientific interest of the IBA•PIXE community.
Due to problems with the registration system, the deadline for "early bird" registration is now reported to the 4th of July.
After that date, the full registration rate will apply. Also, past that date, the organizers won't be able to guarantee a spot in any of the activities proposed to the Conference Outing.
Blocks of rooms reserved at a special rate in both the Université de Montréal Residences and a few hotels are released; rooms and rates may no longer be available at these locations past that date
Welcome to Montréal, to celebrate 50 years of ERD and hear about the latest developments in IBA and PIXE and their applications.
The proceedings will be published as a special virtual issue of Nucl, Instrum. Meth. B. (NIMB) This will be free of charge for the authors, and no printed version of the proceedings will be produced. The submitted manuscripts will go through the regular paper peer-review process of NIMB. Only the manuscript of those who do present their work in person (invited, oral or poster presentation) at IBA•PIXE 2025 will be considered for publication. There will be page limits and other constraints; please stay tuned.
